What causes Mold?
Poor air circulation, moisture, poor insulation, humidity too high, drains or leaks that get onto carpet etc.

What can you do?
1.) Poor air circulation: run furnace blower in ON position, gets even conditioning of space reducing cold spots and humid spots.

2.) Moisture: Have good drainage away from house, repair all roof or window leaks, reduce plants next to house that need to be watered like shrubs, flowers are better that don’t need very much water.

3. Poor insulation: Insulate around foundation to prevent condensation, use storm windows or film over windows to get better insulation to decrease condensation.

4.) Humidity:  Run air to air exchanger in lower settings, around 40% to dry out the air as it comes in, or run a humidifier and set it at 40 – 50 % range, too low you will get static shocks, 45% is a good range.

We look forward to serving you and are confident you will be pleased you chose us. If you have any questions please feel free to contact us.
